HIM? Clifton Man Missing Nearly Two Weeks
Police turned to the public for help finding a Clifton man who'd gone missing nearly two weeks ago. Family members said that they last spoke with Edgar Pelaez, 38, by phone on July 16. "The circumstances are unknown at this time," Clifton Police Lt. Robert Anderson said. Anderson described Edgar as 5-foot-4 and 125 pounds. The search continued for a young Rockland teen who went missing late last month. Bryanah Etienne, a 14-year-old from Monsey, is about 5-foot-3 and roughly 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair, said police in Spring Valley, which is near the New Jersey border. Ruben Wilson had a habit of wandering off and sometimes traveling significant distances from his Englewood home despite dementia and other challenges. North Jersey Man Missing For Week+ Might Be Wearing Kilt, Family Says
Police in Essex County are seeking the public's help in locating a man missing for more than a week. George Kovacs, who is known to wear a kilt, left his home in Bloomfield on June 8 around 4:30 p.m. and hasn't been heard from or seen since, local police said citing his family. A 22-year-old man who went missing Thursday, June 16 was found dead on Friday, authorities in Mercer County said. There are no signs of foul play and no danger to the community, though the investigation remains ongoing, West Windsor police said. His identity was not released and he was described as Asian. Brooklyn College Student Vanishes In DC
A massive search has been launched for a college senior from Brooklyn who vanished during a work trip to Washington DC last month. Tijae Baker, 23, was last seen April 29 by her mom, days before she left for an art convention in DC, according to those her knew her and the NYPD. Sources say she had been with a woman named Radisha Brown, and was last seen on May 1. Baker says her daughter became unresponsive after boarding the bus to go on the trip and has not been seen since.
