Rescuers Search NJ/NY State Line After Missing Person's Car Is Found Atop Palisades
Rescuers scoured the Palisades on both sides of the state border after a missing person's car was found parked atop the cliffs. Palisades Interstate Parkway police found the unoccupied white 2022 Mazda CX-5 parked at the Alpine Lookout on the New Jersey side of the state line around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, Lt. FBI Offers $10K Reward In Search Of Jersey City Woman Missing Since 2019
It's been more than four years since 29-year-old Mayushi Bhagat has been seen. Bhagat was last seen leaving her Jersey City apartment on April 29, 2019, according to the FBI. Bhagat, who was attending the New York Institute of Technology, was reported missing by her family two days later. The FBI said it is now offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the location or recovery of Bhagat, and the identification, arrest and conviction of the person responsible for her disappearance. Harrowing details are beginning to surface in the death of a South Jersey woman. After being charged with second-degree disturbing human remains, 53-year-old Carlos Acevedo, of Camden, has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Cathleen McGrath, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez said. NJ Man Was Supposed To Fly To Turkey 10 Days Ago — He's Been Missing Ever Since
Enes Aydin was supposed to fly to Turkey from Newark Airport on Nov. 5. But the 23-year-old missed his flight, and his family hasn't been able to reach him since. According to Matt Kahraman, a friend of the family, Aydin is from Turkey originally and was vacationing in Mexico last year, before he flew to Edgewater Park to visit his grandfather. "He was supposed to go to Turkey 10 days ago," Kahraman, "but he never flew." Aydin was last seen last month in New York City. His family is working with the Turkish officials and Edgewater Park police to find him.

Murder Suspect Wanted After Woman's Body Found At VA Campsite Nabbed In Paterson: Cops
A man wanted for murder in Virginia was captured in New Jersey, authorities announced. Rami El Sayed was identified as a person of interest after 40-year-old Cara Abbruscato was found dead in a makeshift tent at Burke Lake Park on Ox Road on Saturday, Sept. 30, county police said. El Sayed was captured in Paterson, NJ, police announced on Monday, Oct. 2. Abbruscato, 40, had suffered trauma to her upper body. Police have issued an alert for a Hackettstown teen who has been missing for five days and may be on his way to Florida. Mauricio Tiul-Morales, 16, was last seen at his home on Mountain Avenue on Wednesday, Sept. 13, Hackettstown Police said in a Monday release.
