A 12-year-old Jersey City girl was wounded in a drive-by shooting earlier this month when three members of a group of allied Jersey City gangs opened fire on a rival gang in retaliation for a previous attack, federal authorities said Wednesday. : Jeep Hits 2 Children, 3 Adults Outside JC Supermarket
A Jeep reportedly struck five people just outside a Jersey City supermarket late Friday afternoon. The vehicle apparently pinned the victims against a metal barrier outside the Extra Supermarket near Kearney Avenue off Martin Luther King Boulevard shortly before 5 p.m. None of their injuries was considered life-threatening. Police were investigating.
