An accused North Jersey serial sex offender isn't going anywhere now. ICE has placed a detainer on Fokam Ngongang Parfait, a former Montclair High School football star who's accused in a series of sexual assaults at hotels in Saddle Brook and Secaucus. The 25-year-old repeat offender has been held in the Bergen County Jail since his arrest by detectives from the county prosecutor's office on March 31. Authorities on Friday seized a former Montclair High School football star who they said kidnapped and robbed one of multiple rape victims at gunpoint in Saddle Brook. There may be other victims, they said. A North Jersey ShopRite store is set to reopen after nearly a month closed due to flooding from Hurricane Ida. The Nathaniel Place store in Englewood will open on Friday, Sept. 24 at 7 a.m. ShopRite associates went to work remediating the damage and getting the store ready for customers. Body Recovered From Passaic River
A body was recovered from the Passaic River in Hudson County Monday afternoon, police reports say. The New Jersey State Police Marine Unit was apparently dispatched to the area of the river near 1st Street in Harrison around 2:15 p.m. Last week, the bodies of a young couple who were swept away in Hurricane Ida's floodwaters were recovered from the river. As of Monday, a Little Falls woman who witnesses said was also swept into the river by the current remained missing. No further details were immediately released.

President Joe Biden will be touring two New Jersey towns devastated by Hurricane Ida on Tuesday. He will receive a briefing from officials in Hillsborough Township before touring a neighborhood in Manville. He will then visit Jamaica, Queens.
