Support Swells For Dying North Jersey Teen
Lamont "LJ" Alston, a 17-year-old senior at Pascack Valley High School, has been placed in hospice care after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma. LJ was diagnosed with the disease at the age of 16 in February, with recent scans having shown the cancer metastasized, according to a GoFundMe page for him and his family. The teen went into hospice two weeks ago and has faith he can defeat his cancer. His parents, Cris and Lamont, have created a bucket list for him. The elder sister of former President Donald J. Trump has died while in hospice care in New York, a source with direct knowledge told Daily Voice early Monday morning, Nov. 13. Maryanne Trump Barry, a Queens native and retired federal judge, died over the weekend from cancer while in hospice care in New York City, the source said. She was 86. Barry became an Assistant US Attorney in 1974 and was appointed to the US District Court for the District of New Jersey by the late President Ronald Reagan in 1983. Lucille Howe (McElhaney) was born in Helena, MT in 1928 to James Lewis McElhaney and Dorothy Beatrice Stapleton. She was a third-generation descendant of the original pioneers of the Helena Valley (on her father’s side) and Walla Walla, WA (on her mother’s side). A police officer from suburban Philadelphia who suffered a brain injury caused by a bee sting last year is living out his final days, his family announced over the weekend. Hatboro K9 handler and dad of two Ryan Allen went into cardiac arrest on Oct. 14, 2021 after suffering anaphylactic shock from a bee sting, "with no prior history of a bee allergy," his wife, Whitney Allen, wrote on a GoFundMe page.
