Paterson PD: Pill Pusher Popped With Hundreds Of Oxy Tabs, Gun, $25,000 Drug Cash
Paterson detectives seized hundreds of Oxycodone pills, a handgun and nearly $25,000 in profits while busting a high-level street dealer who operated up the block from a city school, authorities said.
Alexander Roller-Huarotte, 30, was previously charged in a 2015 home invasion in which the wrong family was victimized.
Earlier this month, city Narcotics Division detectives learned that he was "distributing large quantities of Oxycodone tablets," Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said Friday.

A Maryland man was extradited to Harrisburg for robbing multiple pharmacies across three states, according to Southern York Regional police.
Jamal Alvin Lee Gwaltney, 30, of the 700 block of Villager Circle in Baltimore, MD, was arrested on July 19 in Maryland for armed robberies of pharmacies in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.
One of his most notable robberies was in Pennsylvania at a Rite Aid in Shrewsbury located at 577 South Main Street on Dec. 21, 2020.
He held up the store with a Glock 23 handgun, stealing more than 80 different medications, worth nearly $36,000, according to …

Paterson detectives chased down a Newark man after they found him standing on a city street corner with a loaded gun, authorities said.
Alexis DeLaRosa, 18, was in a group hanging at the corner of North 6th and Clinton streets when Detectives Mustafa Dombayci and John Traynor spotted the gun's magazine sticking out of a fanny pack around his neck, Public Safety Director Jerry Speziale said.

A Newark drug dealer caught with a gun was sentenced to five years in federal prison, authorities said.
Ricky Terrell, 24, was one of several dealers targeted for running an open-air drug market – slinging heroin, fentanyl, cocaine and more -- at the Stephen Crane Village public housing complex near the Belleville border, Acting U.S. Attorney Rachael A. Honig said.
