Murder-suicide: Teen Boy Watched Dad Kill Mom In NJ Backyard, Relatives Say
Police were investigating a murder-suicide that brought police to a Mullica Township home July Fourth, they said.
Edward Reven 3rd., 53, killed Rayanne Reven, 53 and then himself in their backyard around midnight July Fourth, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said.
A GoFundMe launched for Rayanne's children said the incident happened in front of her son, Jesse.
More than $2,300 had been raised on the campaign as of noon on July 5.
A Facebook friend commented, "She was a great friend, colleague, and a wonderful person."

His social profiles helped investigators identify a convicted armed robber as the gunman who they said held up a convenience store in Lodi and pistol-whipped a Chinese restaurant worker during another robbery in Elmwood Park.
Michael Stuart, 48, used a revolver to rob a 7-Eleven on Route 46 in Lodi shortly before 2:30 a.m. on April 26, authorities charged.
Using the same gun, car and clothing, Stuart held up the Garden China Restaurant on Broadway in Elmwood Park on May 10, exactly two weeks later, a complaint on file in Superior Court in Hackensack says.

PA Boater Has Close Encounter With Great White Shark In NJ (Video)
A great white shark was spotted off the coast of Sea Isle City, and a boater caught it all on video.
Jim Piazza of Media, Pennsylvania, posted the footage to Facebook.
"Look at this monster. Get, get, get away,'' Piazza says on the video to his son, Jayden, who was near the edge of the 23-foot boat. "He was a big shark."
Piazza was fishing for about four hours six miles out with his 15-year-old son, his son's friend, and a cousin, Joey. They were less than a mile from shore when they spotted the shark at about noon on Saturday, June 4.

Todd Parrett took every opportunity to seize the day that he could, right up until the day he died, his obituary says.
The Passaic resident, born in Lock Haven, PA, died on Sunday, May 22 at 42 years old.
He was remembered for his "exuberance for life," and was passionate about the great outdoors.
