Suspicious Death In Paramus Home Probed By Bergen County Prosecutor (Developing) Authorities are investigating a suspicious death in a Paramus home, a spokesperson for the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office confirmed. Paramus officers were called to a home on East Ridgewood Avenue around 4:10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 18, where they found a woman dead inside the home, BCPO spokesman Jeff Angerymeyer said. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death is underway, being led by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Paramus Police Department.  The investigation is under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck and Chief Robert M. Bus, Car Collide At Busy Paramus Intersection No serious injuries were reported when a car collided with a commuter bus at a busy Paramus intersection. The private vehicle was headed south on Paramus Road when it collided with an out-of-service New Jersey Transit 163 bus heading west on East Ridgewood Avenue shortly before 2 p.m., responders said. Paramus firefighters popped a door on the private vehicle to free the driver. Borough police were investigating.

Driver Hospitalized In Crash Outside New Bridge Medical Center In Paramus Paramus firefighters cut a Lyft driver from a sedan after a crash with another vehicle Wednesday morning outside New Bridge Medical Center. He was taken to the Valley Hospital in initially unknown condition. Police, Fire Companies 1 and 2, the Rescue Squad and EMS were among the responders to the East Ridgewood Avenue crash, which jammed area traffic. Both vehicles were removed by flatbed tow truck.
