: 7-Year-Old City Girl Who Drowned In Rented Teaneck Backyard Pool Was Reported Missing
UPDATE: A 7-year-old Newark girl had been reported missing before she was found drowned over the weekend in a backyard Teaneck pool that its owners rent out for parties, authorities said. Officers and neighbors were searching for the girl after she'd been reported missing early Sunday evening, Teaneck Police Chief Glenn O'Reilly said. They found her at the bottom of the in-ground pool on Westervelt Place near Teaneck Road shortly after 6 p.m., the chief said. Body Of Missing Delaware River Swimmer Found
The body of a swimmer who went missing last week in the Delaware River was found over the weekend, WFMZ reports. Christopher Schofield's body was found by a park visitor around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, near Kittatinny Point within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, the outlet said. The 23-year-old Stroudsburg man had last been seen around 8 p.m. Tuesday, when he tried to swim across the river from Prices Landing, to New Jersey. Click here for more from WFMZ.

River Vale Resident Drowns In Backyard Pool
A 55-year-old River Vale man drowned in his backyard pool on Friday, authorities confirmed. Borough police responding to a 911 call at 624 Brian Court shortly after 11 a.m. found Daniel Balestra still in the pool, responders said. Offices pulled the victim from the pool and began CPR, Police Lt. A trip to a North Jersey lake turned deadly for two swimmers on Tuesday, June 14. Bodies of the 17- and- 22-year-old Hispanic males were recovered from the waters of Mine Hill Beach in the evening hours, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said. The body of a drowned swimmer was found off the Jersey Shore in Belmar after several others were rescued, authorities said.
