The community is rallying to support the family of a vibrant 19-year-old from Bergen County, NJ who tragically died in a car accident along Interstate 78 in Pennsylvania earlier this week. Ciarra Sanchez was heading east on I-78 in Upper Saucon Township when the vehicle veered off the road and struck a concrete bridge pillar on Monday, Nov. 11, according to Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio. Fight Broke Out Before Double Stabbing That Left Union City Boy Dead: Prosecutor
Authorities have release preliminary details in a double stabbing that left a teen boy dead and another seriously hurt in Union City this week. Five teens were involved in a fight at 40th Street and Bergenline Avenue around 6:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Allen Flores, 15, of Union City, and a 16-year-old boy were each stabbed and hospitalized. Flores was pronounced dead at Christ Hospital in Jersey City. Authorities: Woman, 37, Sexually Assaulted At Knifepoint In Jersey City
A 37-year-old woman was hospitalized after being sexually assaulted at knifepoint in Jersey City, authorities said. The woman was treated at Christ Hospital after the incident, which happened at Warner and Ocean avenues around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. Two Wyckoff police officers helped save the life of a 74-year-old driver whose car crashed into two others when he suffered a heart attack Thursday on Route 495 near the Lincoln Tunnel, authorities said. Secaucus Police Save Woman Who Tried To Jump Off Rt. 3 Bridge
Two Secaucus police officers saved a woman as she was climbing over the railing of a bridge spanning Rt. 3 in a suicide attempt, Capt. Dennis Miller said in a statement. A passerby called police around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning after spotting the woman peering over the edge of the Rt. 3 East bridge.
