Edwin M. Zhinin-Zhinin, a 31-year-old janitor, and Eli M. Mancia-Herrera, a 39-year-old construction worker, were charged with aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault and chld endangerment, acting county Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said Thursday afternoon.
Both were being held in the Bergen County Jail -- Zhinin-Zhinin on $250,000 bail and Mancia-Herrera on $150,000 bail -- pending scheduled Friday arraignments in Central Processing Court in Hackensack.
Grewal's Special Victims Unit and Hackensack detectives investigated after the girl told city police last Thursday that "she had been sexually abused by two separate individuals...in the past," the prosecutor said.
Both were arrested on Wednesday, he said.
