Teacher charged with exposing himself to online Bergen detective posing as minor

A married Middlesex County grade school teacher was arrested today after authorities said he had online chats and exposed himself on a webcam to a Bergen County detective posing as a 14-year-old girl.

Andrew Brown, 38, of South Plainfield is being held on $25,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with attemped criminal sexual contact and child endangerment.

Brown teaches at the Woodbrook School in Edison, Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli said.

He’s due in Superior Court in Hackensack at 9 a.m. tomorrow.
