Soon Yae Kim, of 505 North Avenue, was knocked down by the bus around 9 a.m. Bystanders rushed to her aid, and she was eventually taken to the hospital.

Edward Johnson, 38, continued on his route, taking passengers to Bergen Community College on his #1247 coach, Molinelli said.

“At this time, no charges have been filed,” Molinelli said, shortly before 4 p.m. “It has not been classified as a … criminal investigation.”

However, he said, it is still classified as an accident that is being handled by Fort Lee police.
