Motorcyclist OK after spill in Wyckoff

ONLY ON CVP: A motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Hackensack University Medical Center following a minor spill in Wyckoff this afternoon.

The cyclist apparently swerved to avoid a silver passenger car and went down around 4:15 p.m. on Grandview Avenue near the Route 208 northbound entrance/exit ramp.

There was no contact between vehicles, and the driver of the car kept going, perhaps not realizing that the biker was down.

The cyclist walked to a waiting ambulance, his head wrapped. The motorcycle was towed.

Wyckoff police and EMS workers responded.
