Montvale infant flown to Humc after falling out of crib

BREAKING NEWS: An 8-month-old who fell out of crib in Montvale was whisked by AirMed One to Hackensack University Medical Center on Sunday.

The child was reported unconscious when the medical helicopter arrived at the Memorial School field around 1:30.

Montvale Police Chief Jeremy Abrams said the call came in just after 1 o’clock.

“Upon arrival, officers were informed that an 8-month-old boy had fallen from a crib, striking his head,” the chief told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

“Ambulance and medics responded. They believed the head trauma serious enough to request a medevac helicopter,” he said.

Police were awaiting word this morning on the infant’s condition.
