Montvale 8-month-old who fell from crib is fine

YOU READ IT HERE FIRST: An 8-month-old Montvale infant who was rushed to the hospital by helicopter after falling from his crib is back home with his family.

“It’s very good news,” Montvale Police Chief Jeremy Abrams told CLIFFVIEW PILOT this morning.

AirMed One whisked the child to Hackensack University Medical Center yesterday after emergency workers found him unconscious just after 1 p.m, the chief said.

” They believed the head trauma serious enough to request a medevac helicopter,” he said.

Abrams was at a school security meeting this morning when he got the good news.

“I know people were worried,” he said. “With an 8-month-old, you just don’t take chances.”
