Fort Lee police and members of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit arrested Jishi Yu in late January after learning that the child had been admitted to Hackensack University Medical Center.

The recently-returned indictment alleges that Yu, who is unemployed, beat the infant between Jan. 15-23, giving rise to charges of abuse, neglect and endangering.

An additional count charges Yu, 39, with “failing to disclose information to medical personnel regarding the chlld’s condition.”

A lawyer for Yu got his bail reduced from $1 million to $100,000. Yu then posted the bail on March 29 and remains free.
