“Reflections” right now is seeking high school sophomore and junior boys, but it also foresees future openings for girls and boys in other high school grades, Bergen County Executive Kathleen A. Donovan said this afternoon.

“I encourage young people of Bergen County to participate in this worthwhile program,” Donovan said. “Reflections has performed a great service for our youth by helping them deal with difficult issues in an interactive and positive way,” she said.

In its 21st year, “Reflections” employs teenage volunteers who perform throughout the county for a variety of audiences including schools, community groups, parent groups, client groups and conferences.

The improvisational performances are followed by discussions with audience members.

The project is sponsored by the Bergen County Department of Human Services Division of Family Guidance.

Rehearsals are from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays at One Bergen County Plaza in Hackensack.
