Detective Keith Marrano found 54-year-old Thomas Allocca, who was identified by the boy as the man who followed him as he walked to school in the area of Anderson and Linden Streets on March 13, Hackensack police said.

The boy said Allocca blocked his path with a grey-colored vehicle, but he walked around it and kept going.

However, Allocca “reappeared at the next block” and parked at the corner of Park and Anderson, he said. He then got out, walked up and began saying inappropriate things to the teen, police said.

The boy said Allocca stopped following him after he crossed the street.

Allocca turned up again exactly a week later, the teen told police. The boy took off — but got a license plate number first, police said.

Allocca, of Hackensack, was being held on $50,000 bail in the Bergen County Jail, charged with stalking.

Meanwhile, police are investigating whether similar incidents have occurred. Their number: (201) 646-7777
