Elizabeth M. McMorrow, 90, Of Hackensack

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Elizabeth M. McMorrow, (nee Hegarty) of Hackensack died Wednesday, December 16. She was 90.

Born in Ennis, County Clare, Ireland, McMorrow came to the United States in 1956, settling in Hackensack. She was a member of the Bergen Irish Association of Dumont, and a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Hackensack.

She was the wife of the late Michael J. McMorrow.

She is survived by her children, Mary McMorrow of Little Ferry, Frances Parisi and her husband, Gary, of Oakland, Michael McMorrow and his wife, Angela, of Oakland, Elizabeth Garlasco and her husband, Chris, of the Township of Washington, Stephen McMorrow and his wife, Pamela, of Rome, Georgia, John McMorrow and his wife, Kathy, of Maywood, Ann Novellino and her husband, Gregg, of Dumont and Patricia Donnell and her husband, Cal, of Wyckoff; her grandchildren, Anthony and his wife, Laura, Kristen and her husband, Victor, Rachel and her husband, Shaun, Caleb, Megan, Amanda, Tommy, Ashley, Carli, Eilish, Jennie, Liam, Collin, Jack and Michael John; and her great grandchildren, Avett and Cove. She was also the sister of the late Maureen Heath, Josie Ward, Thomas, Kevin, Michael and Patrick Hegarty; and aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m on Sunday, Dec. 20, at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union Street, Hackensack.

The funeral will begin at the funeral home Monday, December 21, at 10:15 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 400 Maywood Ave., Maywood with burial following at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
