Hackensack Hospital Named Among Top 100 In U.S.

HACKENSACK, N.J. — Hackensack University Medical Center, a member of Hackensack Meridian Health, has been recognized by Becker's Hospital Review in the 2017 edition of its list of "100 Great Hospitals in America."

According to Becker’s, HackensackUMC was chosen as a hospital renowned for excellence. The hospitals on the list are industry leaders in innovation, quality patient care and clinical research, and have received recognition across various publications and accrediting organizations.

HackensackUMC was also recognized based on a criteria of previous achievement. The Becker's Hospital Review editorial team selected hospitals according to analysis of several ranking and award agencies, including U.S. News and World Report's 2016-17 Honor Roll and specialty rankings, CMS star ratings, Leapfrog grades, Most Wired hospitals and Magnet accreditation.
