HACKENSACK, N.J. — A Hackensack assistant DPW supervisor accused of racketeering in a federal lawsuit could be getting a $100,000 payout, NorthJersey.com reports.

Anthony Sedita retired Jan. 1, the article says.

The lawsuit alleges that Sedita and two other top dogs coerced junior employees into the following, according to NorthJersey.com:

  • helping a local judge move furniture with city-owned vehicles 
  • siphon heating oil from a Paterson school
  • travel to purchase a rifle
  • assist in transporting lead for the production of bullets

The City Council is expected to approve the nearly 6-figure payout Tuesday, the article says.
