The 42-mile route, which will go through Bergen and Passaic counties, will start at American Legion Post 170, 33 W. Passaic St. Registration is from 8-9:30 a.m.

“KSU — Kick Stands Up — should be at 10 o’clock sharp,” said Bob Nesoff, president of the run.

“Our police escorts determine how fast we go,” he added. “When we get back to the American Legion for an after-party, the USO Show Troupe will perform. Bergen County Sheriff Mike Saudino is going to have his canine squad there to do a demonstration.”

There also will be some vendor booths.

Outback Steakhouse is providing a lot of the food, Nesoff said. The Warriors Run will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, and pizza. No alcohol will be served.

The cost is $25 for riders, $15 for passengers and $10 for walk-ins. The first 400 who register will get free event T-shirts.

The general public can attend the after-party. Admittance is $10 per person.

The event will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, and the USO.

Last year, 400 riders participated.
