HACKENSACK, N.J. — Three years after opening, Ice Cream by Mike will be closing up shop in Hackensack.
The Main Street store will close Oct. 22, and reopen in the spring, once it finds a new home, said owner Mike Elias of Bogota said in a Facebook post.
"Our tiny store was as a test for us, we were neither ice cream makers nor retailers," the post said.
"We had a passion for ice cream and wanted to bring ours to market. Our ice cream was well received and recognized as one of the top ice creams in the state. We are so very proud of this recognition."
We appreciate your help and support over these last 3 years and we have really enjoyed serving you.
