Chicken Supreme Now Open In Hackensack

HACKENSACK, N.J. — A longtime Paterson chicken restaurant has opened its new Hackensack location.

River Street's Chicken Supreme opened earlier this month and is serving up all-things chicken and a host of sides like mashed potatoes, rice, french fries and more.

The restaurant tells its story on its website:

Chicken Supreme Founder Socrates Lambrinides came to the United States from Greece at 10 years old.

In August 1976, he purchased Chicken Unlimited in Paterson and changed the named to Chicken Supreme.

Forty years later, Chicken Supreme opened in Hackensack.
