Motorcyclist Dies After Passing Line Of Stopped Cars In Harrison Twp.
A 61-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with a pickup truck this week in South Jersey. Michael McCulley, 61, of Woolwich, was heading west on Mullica Hill Road in Harrison Township, when he passed westbound cars stopped at a red light around 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, local police said. McCulley went into the Lambs Road intersection and struck the passenger side of the pickup truck, which had been turning left from Mullica Hill Road east onto Lambs Road north. The truck driver was hospitalized for evaluation and McCulley was pronounced dead at the scene.

Philadelphia Man Who Killed NJ Stepdad Over Gay Dinner Guest Indicted: Report
A Gloucester County grand jury indicted a Philadelphia man in the shooting death of his stepfather after an argument over a gay dinner guest, according to NJ Advance Media. Christian A. Smith, 23, was indicted on one count of first-degree murder and a second-degree count of possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose after killing Woolwich's Dennis McKenzie, 43, when he learned about the sexual orientation of a guest McKenzie invited to a gathering last October, the outlet said. A 22-year-old woman was tired and not wearing her seatbelt when her Jeep overturned on Route 70 early Saturday morning, killing her, authorities said. Manchester police believe fatigue may have been a factor in the 2:10 a.m. crash that left Margaret Palilonis dead, Jersey Shore Online reports. 3-Alarm Fire Ravages Gloucester County Industrial Plant
Fire crews spent hours battling a three-alarm blaze at a Gloucester County industrial plant Monday night. Firefighters were called to the 400 Eagle Ct. building in Pureland Industrial Park around 7:30 p.m, Harrison Township fire officials said on Facebook. Firefighters opened the roof and, with help from Woolwich, Pennsville, and Reliance fire companies, cut four holes to help knock down the blaze.
