13-Year-Old Among 2 Dead By Driver Making Illegal Pass In Mercer County: Police
Two people including a 13-year-old boy were killed in a head-on crash involving a vehicle that illegally tried to pass other cars on Route 31 in Mercer County, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 10:50 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11. Kongmi Khu, 32, of Brooklyn, NY, will be charged with vehicular manslaughter and other offenses, police said. Khu was driving south and crossed the double yellow lines in an attempt to pass two other vehicles before slamming into a northbound car, Hopewell Township police said.
