A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Monday, June 17 for the $5.6 million renovation to Pop Lloyd Stadium. The project will make the stadium playable for baseball, softball, T-ball, football, soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey, as well as other sports and activities. The popular vacation spot is finalizing the plans to reconstruct its part of the Wildwoods Boardwalk, according to a post on the city's Facebook page on Monday, Feb. 5. The first phase of the project is expected to begin in the fall and work will happen between 16th and 18th avenues.
