A 75-year-old Paramus woman who was struck and dragged 20 feet by a sedan driven by a 94-year-old borough resident over the weekend has died, authorities confirmed. Helen Koons was in the crosswalk in the rear parking lot of the Paramus Public Library off East Century Road when the 2013 Toyota Corolla dragged her around 12:45 p.m. Saturday, March 16, Police Chief Robert M. A youth strength and conditioning coach from Nutley who'd remained free while awaiting trial in the deaths of a couple in a horrific early-morning crash outside their Lodi home exposed a child in Bergen County to sexual conduct, authorities charged. Cocaine, Handguns Seized In Arrest Of Trenton Man: Prosecutor
A three-month investigation into cocaine sales in Trenton led to an arrest and seizure of $10,500 in cocaine, two handguns and nearly $4,000 cash, authorities said. Juan Rivera, 34, of Trenton, was charged with drug and weapons offenses on Oct. 4, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri. A motor vehicle stop of Rivera in a silver Toyota Corolla was conducted by detectives in the area of Greenwood and Walnut avenues in Trenton. Former Cuomo Staffer Killed After Being Kicked Out Of Lyft
A 43-year-old man who was struck and killed by a car after being ordered out of a Lyft in Delaware over the weekend has been identified as one of former Gov. Andrew Cuomo's previous staffers. 2 Young Drivers Dead In Wrong-Way Gloucester City Crash
Authorities have identified the two drivers killed in a wrong-way crash that injured three others Friday night in Camden County. A Buick Century was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-676 when it struck a Toyota Corolla heading north head-on around 10:45 p.m., in Gloucester City, Fox29 reports. The Buick driver, Amir Kearney, 24, of Clayton, and Toyota driver, Cassandra Sackie, of Woodbury, both died, the outlet says. Three other individuals were injured, the outlet said.
