Man Sentenced For Sex Assault On Bally's Hotel-Casino Housekeeper In Atlantic City A 36-year-old man from New York was sentenced to 42 years in New Jersey State Prison for the 2018 aggravated sexual assault of a Bally’s Hotel and Casino housekeeper, authorities said. The sentence follows a two-week trial culminating in the conviction by an Atlantic County jury of Jamel Carlton, of Saugerties, NY, on March 31, 2022.  In addition to sexual assault, Carlton was convicted on burglary and criminal restraint charges.
