Downed Utility Pole Shuts Gloucester County Roadway A rush-hour crash and downed utility pole has shut down a major Gloucester County road for several hours. The crash occurred on Route 47 in Glassboro at about 8:20 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7 and the road remained closed as of 1:10 p.m., according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.  The pole was down across all lanes near Route 553 (Woodbury Avenue), 511nj.org reported.  CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES
