Andre Gordon, the 26-year-old gunman accused of gunning down three people in Pennsylvania, was captured in Trenton after an hours-long search Saturday, March 16, authorities said. Man Charged With Assaulting Police Officer In South Jersey
A 39-year-old man from Bridgeton was charged with assaulting a police officer, authorities said. Shortly after noon on Wednesday, Jan. 31, Bridgeton police responded 179 N. Pearl St, Dino Mart for a fight. Police found a victim and a suspect, identified as Rolfi Rodriguez-Perez. The suspect was told to leave but returned several times, police said. He ultimately kicked a police officer, they said. Rodriguez-Perez was charged with resisting arrest, hindering apprehension and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, police said.

An MBA fellow at Rowan University has designed an app to enhance the security of students at the Glassboro campus. Siena Rampulla was a victim of an off-campus break-in in March 2022, as reported by Daily Voice. Jorge L. Navaheredia, 29, of Sicklerville, had broken into several women's homes including Rampulla's, according to Glassboro police. He was caught hiding under a kitchen sink with panties, police said. A car thief being pursued by police crashed into several civilian vehicles killing one person and hurting three others overnight in Central Jersey, authorities said. NJ Police Lt. Mark Horan Takes His Own Life After 24 Years On Force
A police lieutenant who took his own life over the weekend in his New Jersey home is being remembered as a devoted dad and exemplary officer. Hamilton Police Lt. Mark Horan died Saturday, April 30 in his home. He was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, NJ Advance Media reports. Horan joined Hamilton's force in 1998 and assigned to the patrol division.
