Township of Hamilton police said Black Horse Pike was closed near the intersection with High Bank Road on Wednesday, Apr. 3, the department said in a Facebook post.  The crash was reported to the state Department of Transportation at around 2:51 p.m. The NJDOT also said a utility pole was knocked down during the crash. Busy Atlantic City Bridge To Be Closed Overnight Next Week A busy bridge in Atlantic City will be periodically closed overnight next week as part of a major construction project. Crews for the state Department of Transportation (NJDOT) will work on the Route 30 drawbridge over Beach Thorofare from Monday, Feb. 26 to Friday, Mar. 1, the Atlantic City Police Department said. The bridge will be raised for 30 minutes an hour between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each day. State police will be near the construction area to help with lane closures.
