According to the Monmouth County SPCA, Neptune Township police responded to a call about animals in distress at a home on Embury Avenue on Saturday, Feb. 3. When officers and SPCA's humane law enforcement division arrived, they followed a concrete path with fresh blood to a backyard garage with dogs barking inside of it. Jersey Shore Man Stabbed Victim Dead During Fight: Prosecutor A 32-year-old man from Neptune Township man has been charged with murder after stabbing another man dead during an argument, authorities said. Derrick Simms stabbed the victim, who was found unresponsive outside of a Squirrel Road home in Neptune around 5:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey said. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Linskey said. Men Stabbed During Fight At Monmouth County McDonalds UPDATE: Two men from Monmouth County were arrested after stabbing each other during a fight in the parking lot of a McDonalds fast-food restaurant, authorities said. Quoron Patterson, 23, and Kironn Hamilton, 31, both of Neptune Township, were treated at Jersey Shore University Medical Center after the 5 p.m. fight off of Route 35, township police said.
