11 Students, Two Drivers Hospitalized In Jersey Shore Crash
Thirteen people were injured, including 11 students on their way to school, after a luxury car and a van crashed in Ocean County, authorities said. Manchester Township police responded to the crash at the intersection of county routes 571 and 547 at around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Apr. 16, the department said in a news release. A 26-year-old man has been arrested for leaving the scene of a crash that left his passenger dead in Ocean County, authorities said. Angel Garcia-Rodriguez, 26, of Lakewood, was behind the wheel of a 2007 Honda Civic when he lost control and struck a utility pole on James Street around 2:25 a.m. Saturday, July 22, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Lakewood Man, 36, Killed In 3-Vehicle Crash: Police
A 36-year-old man from Lakewood was killed in a three-vehicle crash, authorities said. Oliver Vazquez has been identified as the victim of the crash on Madison Avenue just south of 9th Street on Saturday, April 2 just before 9 p.m. A GoFundMe was launched in an effort to help bring his body to Mexico, his home country. A 27-year-old mother from the Jersey Shore has admitted that she inadvertently left her 21-month-old child in a hot car, authorities said The child died about two-and-a-half hours later, according to the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office. An 82-year-old woman died, a dog was missing and first responders were injured in a Jackson house fire Thursday night, authorities said. The blaze broke out around 8:45 p.m. at 10 Lehigh Blvd., which was fully engulfed in flames as firefighters responded, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
