Woman, 61, Admits To Decades-Old Sexual Assaults: Prosecutor
A 61-year-old Medford Township woman pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a young boy beginning in the early 1980s, authorities said. On Friday, Jan. 20 in Mount Holly, Katherine Clements entered the guilty plea to sexual assault, which carries an incarceration period of up to 10 years, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. At 11:29 AM, Shawnee High School was evacuated late Thursday morning, Nov. 3 due to an online posting related to a destructive device being placed in a bathroom, authorities said. A juvenile student was later charged with making the threat, according to Medford Township police. Woman Carjacked While Waiting For Air Pump At South Jersey Wawa
A woman was carjacked while she waited at the air pump at a Wawa in South Jersey, authorities said. On Saturday, Oct. at about 2:30 p.m., Medford Township Police Department responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle at the Wawa at 257 Route 70. Three suspects, dressed in dark clothing, approached the victim while she was waiting in the rear of the building. Five men and two juveniles have been arrested on child porn charges, authorities in Burlington County announced. The new defendants join 46 people apprehended for similar crimes as part of an investigation launched by the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office during the COVID-19 pandemic called "Operation Safe Quarantine." Prosecutor: Maple Shade Duo Sold Meth That Killed South Jersey Man, 38
A pair of Maple Shade residents have been arrested in connection with the methamphetamine death of a Burlington County man about a year ago. Joshua Lanigan, 39, and Jeanine Hughes, 44, both were charged with first-degree strict liability for drug-induced death, drug dealing and drug possession felonies, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Medford Township Police Chief Richard J.
