Driver Charged In South Jersey Hit-Run, Teenage Passenger In Other Car Airlifted A teenage passenger was airlifted after a hit-and-run crash in which the other driver was charged, authorities said. Pedro Gonzalez, 38, of Vineland, was traveling about 9 p.m. Thursday on Northeast Boulevard in Newfield when  he allegedly failed to stop at Catawba Avenue and collided with another car, Franklin Township police said. Gonzalez allegedly fled the crash scene. The front-seat passenger in the other car was trapped. But the seriously hurt 17-year-old from Vineland was rescued by first responders and flown by JeffStat 4 helicopter to Cooper University Hospital in Camden.…
