Tuwan Gainer, 31, was arrested on Saturday, May 25, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release. The woman stopped an officer to report the attempted carjacking at around 1:10 a.m. Investigators said Gainer approached her car with a gun near the intersection of Bellevue and Pacific avenues. Elijah Harris, 24, of Atlantic City, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a handgun while engaged in drug distribution conduct on Monday, July 31, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
