NJ Mall Getting Gaming Overhaul After Voters Overturn 60-Year-Old Law
Moorestown residents have spoken: The New Jersey State Amusement Games Licensing Law is so 1959. Sixty-seven percent of Moorestown residents voted in favor of reversing the law — which bans businesses that offer games of chance with prizes, and has been in effect within the municipality for 60 years — this past Election Day. That means a big revitalization for the Moorestown Mall, the second-largest taxpayer for the municipality, according to Mayor Nicole Gillespie. Cold Front Will Bring Change In Weather Pattern As New Storm System Develops In Atlantic
A springlike stretch of weather will finally come to an end as a cold front moves through the region followed by potential impacts from a storm system developing in the Atlantic. The cold front is gradually approaching on Sunday, Nov. 6, and will move through on Monday, Nov. 7, according to the National Weather Service. Before the front pushes through, high temperatures will rise into the 70s on both Sunday and Monday. Obama, Jill Biden Stump For Murphy In NJ's Push For Early Voting
Former President Barack Obama and First Lady Jill Biden are making guest appearances in New Jersey ahead of Gov. Phil Murphy's bid for re-election. Obama will appear with Murphy at a rally in Newark on Oct. 23, coinciding with the opening day of "early in-person voting" in the Garden State.
