These NJ Communities Violated LGBTQ+ Marriage License Rules: AG
Twenty-eight municipalities statewide have been cited by New Jersey officials for excluding the LGBTQIA+ community in their online marriage license applications. The municipalities face fines of up to $10,000 if they don't fix the problem, the state said. Attorney General Matthew J. A Hudson County company agreed to pay $195,000 to a former executive who was fired after taking maternity leave and seeking breastfeeding accommodations when she returned, state authorities said.
