Girl Kicks Herself Free From Abductor In South Jersey: Police
Police in South Jersey are investigating an attempted child abduction, authorities said. A young girl said she was walking northeast on Weekstown Road headed towards Pleasantmills Road when a male driver stopped on Sunday, Mullica Township police said. His vehicle was described as a small red "beat up and dirty" car, police said. The car's make and model were unknown. Police in Burlington County are asking for the public's help in locating a young girl and her mother, who they say took her without her consent. Grace Craytor, 6, of Pennsauken, was last seen at Lifetime Fitness in Mount Laurel on Dec. 6 at approximately 7:10 p.m., Mount Laurel police said. Investigators say Kristina Maletteri took off with her daughter after her daughter's father, Todd Craytor, invited her to a supervised visit with Grace at the gym's pool. A mom and dad from Pennsylvania were arrested in Delaware after they were accused of kidnapping their children from a foster home, according to authorities and a Reading Eagle report. Darrick and Kayla Seachrist's biological 8-year-old and 8-month-old children were presumed missing after an Amber Alert was issued Thursday morning, claiming they were abducted from the 300 block of Arlington Street, Reading police said. A 2-year-old boy abducted by his dad was found unharmed in Tennessee while his mom remained missing as of Saturday morning, authorities in Union County said.
