Seven people were injured when a New Jersey Transit bus crashed in an Atlantic County shopping mall parking lot, authorities said. Egg Harbor Township police responded to the crash in the parking lot of Harbor Square on Black Horse Pike at around 9:59 p.m. on Thursday, Apr. 11, the department said in a news release. The NJ Transit bus hit a light pole behind Boscov's after it left the pickup area. Paramedics brought the driver and six passengers to local hospitals. The bus had moderate damage to its front end. An Ocean County teen was accused of driving nearly 90 miles per hour in a crash that killed a man, authorities said. Aryeh Bakst, 18, of Lakewood, was charged on Wednesday, Mar. 27 with vehicular homicide. Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer announced the charge in a news release on Thursday, Apr. 4. A bus driver and three passengers were injured when a New Jersey Transit bus was rear-ended in Trenton, authorities said. At 11:21 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, the #601 bus was traveling on Mulberry Street and was slowing down to stop at the railroad crossing next to Route 1 when a vehicle rear-ended the bus, Trenton police said. The four crash victims were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center all for reported back pain, police said. A 40-year-old man from Monmouth County was arrested twice on back-to-back days in Mercer County, authorities said. Police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred outside a Lakewood church food pantry. Dilcia Maribell Guevara-Tabora, 46, of Lakewood, was sitting on the curb near Saint Vincent de Paul Food Pantry when she was struck at about 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 15, Lakewood police said. Two girls who were not related to the woman were injured. A minivan was making a turn in the parking lot when the fatal crash occurred.
