Motorcyclist, 50, Killed After Striking Tree In South Jersey: State Police A 50-year-old motorcyclist from Ocean County was killed in a crash in Burlington County, authorities said. New Jersey State Troopers responded to the crash at 7:36 p.m. Sunday, June 25 on Route 653 eastbound at milepost 0.5 in Bass River, they said. Christopher Golden, of Tuckerton, was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle which ran off the roadway to the left and struck a tree, a State Police spokesman said. As a result of the crash, Golden was ejected and sustained fatal injuries.  The crash remains under investigation.

Kyle Gormley lost control of a Chevrolet Malibu while heading south on Route 9, veering off the road and hitting wooden posts and a utility pole around 11:15 p.m. Nov. 25 in Bass River, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Alejandro Goez said. The Tuckerton man was pronounced dead near milepost 59.7.
