An Ocean County man was killed in a snowmobiling accident near a popular Vermont ski area, according to his obituary. Matthew Morris of Point Pleasant Beach died from his injuries on Tuesday, Feb. 20 while snowmobiling near Stratton Mountain Resort, his obituary said. He was 31 years old. Meteorologists have released a more detailed forecast of the storm systems heading to the East Coast in the days leading up to Thanksgiving (scroll down to see where snow is possible). A cold front moving across the region is being accompanied by a rapidly moving line of showers and isolated thunderstorms, some of which are expected to be severe, with damaging winds that could cause power outages.
