Update: Woman Shot In Face In Jersey City Was Struck By Stray Bullet A woman shot in the face Monday morning in Jersey City was apparently struck by a stray bullet, officials said. Two people were arguing inside of a building on Oak Street and MLK Drive when shots were fired at approximately 8:30 p.m., City Spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said. The 29-year-old female victim was not an intended target, and was in a nearby car when she was struck, Wallace-Scalcione said. Jeremy Perez, age 22, was arrested near Danforth Avenue and Old Bergen Road on Dec. 4 around 6:45 p.m., Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
