Authorities Seek Man Who Pulled Knife On Newark Dunkin' Donuts Worker Authorities in Newark are seeking the public's help identifying a man who pulled a knife on a Dunkin' Donuts worker and chase them out of the store. The man walked into the Broad Street store and pulled out the weapon, then told the employee not to run around 7:30 p.m., Oct 7,  Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose said. The employee and another coworker used a ladder to ward off the man, then ran out the back door, Ambrose said. Gianna Francesco was last seen at 11:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dunkin Donuts on Forest Avenue, they said. Neighboring Biggie’s Clam Bar was closed, but the Dunkin’ Donuts was busy with patrons when the Honda Civic veered off the roadway and slammed into the empty van in the mini-shopping center parking lot near Division Avenue around 8:15 a.m., Detective Sgt. The 2003 Chevrolet Impala was headed south on Route 1&9 when it hit the median opposite the Dunkin Donuts, rolled over and slid 300 feet into the right lane just after 12:30 p.m., Capt. Daniel Zusi said. "A witness at the scene stated once the vehicle came to a stop, three black males exited and fled south on the highway," he said. Park Ridge Suicide: Nutley Man, 38, Struck, Killed By Train A 38-year-old Nutley man was struck and killed early Monday by a commuter train in Bergen County. The man drove to the area of the Dunkin' Donuts, just west of the Park Ridge train station, where an NJ Transit spokesman said he was struck at 7:25 a.m. Service was suspended in both directions for four hours. The 1612 train left Spring Valley at 7:10 a.m. for Secaucus Junction and had 180 customers and a crew aboard, NJT's Nathan Rudy said. NJ Transit buses and private carriers picked up the passengers, he said. Service was resumed at 11:30 a.m.
