FBI Nabs Ex-Soldier From Sussex County Charged With Supporting Syrian Terrorists
FBI agents arrested a Sussex County woman Wednesday and charged her with supporting a Syrian terrorist group. Maria Bell, a 53-year-old former U.S. Army solider and member of the National Guard, provided money and advice to “fighters based in Syria who were members of various factions fighting the Assad regime,” U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said. Jersey Shore Bomber Gets 3rd Life Sentence For Trying To Kill Linden Officers Who Caught Him
A wannabe terrorist from Elizabeth who’s already serving double-life in federal prison received yet another lifetime sentence for trying to kill five Linden police officers who captured him after he detonated bombs at the Jersey Shore and in New York City in 2016. Superior Court jurors in Elizabeth last October convicted Ahmad K. Mastermind Behind USS Cole Bombing Reportedly Killed In Airstrike
The terrorist behind the 2000 attack on the USS Cole was believed killed in an American airstrike in Yemen on New Year’s Day, the government said Friday. The State Department had offered a $5 million reward for the capture of Jamel Ahmed Mohammed Ali Al-Badawi for helping organize the attack, which killed 17 American sailors on Oct. 12, 2000.
