Pair Rescued From Car Trapped In Flood Waters In Central PA (Photos) A pair was rescued from a car trapped in flood waters in Ephrata on Wednesday, fire officials announced the following morning.  The water rescue happened on West Mohler Church Road along Cocalico Creek, sometime in the early evening of April 3, according to the Ephrata Pioneer Fire Company. Crews with the company were able to get the duo out of the vehicle with no injuries reported. "No matter the time of day or weather conditions, our volunteers are always here to answer your call for help," the fire company concluded its release.
