Bergen Prosecutor: Drug Detectives Nail Pair During Garfield Cocaine Deal

GARFIELD, N.J. – A Garfield man and an accomplice were arrested after delivering a half-ounce of cocaine and a small amount of "Molly" in town, authorities said.

Drug investigators targeted Jaybron Jennings, 30, and 40-year-old Robert Grady of Paterson, Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal said.

Narcotic Task Force detectives, along with Garfield police, found the pair carrying an additional 45 bags of crack cocaine and $3,000 in suspected drug proceeds, Grewal said.

Both were released on court summonses charging them with distributing drugs.

An Oct. 12 arraignment was scheduled.
