Franklin PD: Passaic County Man, 32 Busted For Child Porn Was Chatting With Juvenile Online
A Passaic County man who'd been chatting online with a Sussex County juvenile was found Wednesday with child porn, authorities said. Franklin police said they got a tip from another law enforcement agency that Damien S. Stefancik, 32, of New Milford had been communicating with the minor and was believed to have child pornography. Stefancik was arrested at a house in Ringwood and charged with possession of child pornography, lewdness observed by a child, obscenity for persons under 18 and child endangerment. Fort Lee police nabbed a naked, drug-influenced man running down Route 4, authorities said. Responding to a call at the Holiday Inn, Officer Carlos Cabrera saw 51-year-old Kelton L. Mccrink-Goode of Morris Plains running in the right lane of the eastbound highway around 6 a.m. Sunday, Capt. Ricky Mirkovic said. Wayne police and Passaic County sheriff's officers were talking to a witness reporting that a man had exposed himself at busy Willowbrook Mall this weekend when a woman screamed nearby. A Jersey City man accused of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl at her house was being held in the Hudson County Correctional Facility Friday, authorities said. Passaic PD: Clifton Man Exposed Himself To City Girls
A Clifton man twice exposed himself to young girls while walking down a Passaic street, said police who identified him, tracked him down and arrested him. Passaic police arrested 49-year-old Kenny Gastone at his job in Nutley, charging him with several counts of lewdness, Police Chief Luis Guzman said. “There was no physical contact” with the youngsters, the chief said. Gastone was identified “through eyewitness accounts and strong investigative work,” Guzman said. In Broad Daylight: Semi-Naked Pedestrian Appeared Drugged, Garfield Police Say
A pedestrian wearing only a camouflage shirt – and nothing else – appeared under the influence of something when Garfield police chased him down early in the afternoon, authorities said. Jose Trinidad, 26, of Garfield tried to run from officers responding to a 12:08 p.m. call Wednesday of a naked man walking on Outwater Lane from Clifton, but he was quickly taken into custody, Capt.
